I can’t say enough good stuff about Alina! During pregnancy, it was so tough finding a trainer who could help me continue to exercise. The routines weren’t motivating and actually made me feel worst. When two different people recommended Alina to me, I knew I had to at least try her. Boy am I glad I did. She knew exactly which exercises I could do and adjusted my routine as my pregnancy progressed. She kept me motivated and also made sure I listened to my own body. Alina is wonderful. She’s very punctual, understands fitness and working of the mind and body, she can make the hardest of workouts fun! She helped me train for strength and weight loss, and it worked very well. The workouts were tough at times, but she made me believe I can do it!

Alina and I have worked together on and off in the past, bouncing ideas off of each other on how to best serve clients. As a physiotherapist, I incorporate much of Alina’s movement techniques and training methods into my own rehabilitation of clients. Her approach can be applied into a plethora of injuries and I’ve found great success in treating clients incorporating some of her exercises into their rehab. As someone recovering from her own injury, Alina exemplifies the ups and downs of rehab and training, the key point being that progress is never linear and that trusting the process is essential for constant growth and improvement. I really enjoyed training with Alina because she coached me through an effective work out and also rehabilitation exercises, fully understanding my past chronic pain issues and helping me prevent further injuries. I feel not only stronger, but more confident in my ability to progress to heavier weights and higher intensity workouts. Alina also motivated me to adopt intermittent fasting (IF) which had a significant impact on my weight management and energy levels. We are writing a testimonial a week after we had the first training sessions with Alina. We are two adults ages 62 and 56, who except for extended regular walks do not exercise. We felt lately that it is time we start exercising it is not to late to start at any age. Alina started our first session by explaining what she plans for us to do and what we going to achieve by doing the exercises. After a set of stretching exercises, Alina showed us a routine of progressively challenging exercises, where she tracked how difficult or easy it was to do for us. We worked on balance and coordination, resistance training and core strengthening. And all of this in our first sessions. Alina carefully checked that she challenged us the right amount and made all exercises fun and engaging. She also selected the exercises we can do together using readily available tools. At the end of this first session we felt great, even though we realized that we have some muscles we have never used before. Alina also discussed with us the benefits of fasting and the elements of nutrition and obvious benefits of both. We are very thankful to Alina for her patience and encouragement. From now on we will be working out regularly to achieve the level of fitness we need for a healthy and enjoyable life.

Alina is an absolute GEM! Working out with her was definitely one of my favourite experiences at the gym. She doesn’t only motivate you but she inspires you to be better. I first met Alina back in late 2015 when she flew in from Canada to San Jose CA where they taught a seminar on Non-classical Gung Fu and Silat. I was thoroughly impressed not only at her strength and competence but also at her ability to articulate and teach her chosen arts well.
