Proper nutrition is the key ingredient to your overall health. Your nutrition impacts how your body heals itself, your energy levels, your cognitive functions, how you feel, move, and look. But when it comes to making healthy choices, trying to lose weight or gain weight, food can be a very confusing area to tackle. Eating should not be stressful or complicated, and the worst thing you can do for yourself is stress. I am a Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition Pn1. I’m here to help you alleviate those stresses and set you on the right track with your nutrition. Food is delicious, it’s fun, it’s social, and you should enjoy food!
I’ve learned that obsessing over numbers doesn’t work long-term for most people. It doesn’t remove the stress factor, and it occupies a tremendous amount of space in the brain. Diets also don’t work long-term, and there is no sense in jumping from one strict diet to the next. All the data regarding diet failures is already out there. There’s a reason why they’re fads and go in and out of trend. Diets are a system designed to fail. They are incredibly restrictive, a one-size-fits-all approach, and short-term oriented. That’s not how I approach nutrition and that’s not what I encourage my clients to try.
I have experience working with clients of all ages, from vegans to carnivores, clients looking to lose weight, gain weight, and improve overall health. I work with clients to understand what their current habits are and how to improve upon those habits. We work together on identifying obstacles and problem solving, keeping in mind the client’s budget, schedule, commitments, and lifestyle. Budget, time, community, lifestyle, none of these should be an obstacle to healthy living. I will be your coach and support system. In the end, it’s not about this food is good and that food is bad; it’s about building a healthy relationship with food and making this a life-long change for yourself. You will enjoy the benefits of looking and feeling better, higher energy levels, hormonal balance, better digestion, and longevity.
My clients decide if they want daily check-ins, weekly check-ins, or bi-weekly check-ins. Support and guidance look different for everyone. I’ll work with you on getting all your levels in check, reprogram how your body uses stored energy and make it a process that you will have confidence in. The initial 15-minute consultation is free.
