I am a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. My approach to training is unconventional. Having an open mind and ability to explore through movement is a great way to build your body from the ground up. I coach clients in functional movement and strength, so that they can gain full control of their own body weight, feel good and have confidence. Training doesn’t have to be boring or leave you feeling sore and exhausted. I work with you to come up with a plan that you will find enjoyable and challenging without feeling intimidated or discouraged.

Move the way your body was intended to move. Movement is so much more than fitness! It’s medicine for your body, it’s longevity with quality, it’s about balancing hormone and energy levels. When was the last time you moved freely and unselfconsciously like when you were a toddler? I believe in reconnecting with the body through playful and functional movement. People lose touch with this type of movement after they’ve been transitioned from the ground to the desk at a young age.

I have experience with all types of clients, from those that have never exercised before to those recovering from surgery. Athletes looking for a fresh perspective and those searching for an introduction to martial arts and self defence. Not everyone has the luxury of time, or large space or equipment in their home. I customize training to every client’s individual needs, goals, schedule and environment. If you don’t want to use gym equipment then you don’t have to. If you enjoy using kettlebells and other equipment then I’ll add that to your training. It all comes down to what you find most enjoyable, that is what’s going to make new training habits stick. There is no one perfect training plan. Your body requires different attention and movement than that of another.

By changing poor habits to healthy ones, without feeling like you’re compromising your sanity and happiness, we can make sure these positive changes are achievable. You’ll enjoy the process and won’t have the fear of failing. Together we will make building healthy habits achievable and lifelong. I give the necessary attention to each individual in order to avoid injuries. I work with individuals on a 1:1 basis or couples.
